Volley ball ended up being a nice after dinner pass time this year, with even the old guys getting in on the act.

We were very pleased that Patrick D. was able to join us this year.  He was one of two scouts from our troop that participated in the huge Jamboree this year down in XXX.  Right after coming back from that adventure, he got back in the car for the ride up to Cedarlands to join the rest of us for what was left of the week.  In fact, he was one of the key competitors representing our troop in the camp wide triathlon (along with Shelby).

We ended up waking each day at around 6:30 or so.  Mr. Derrane was good enough to bring along a bugle, and was more than happy to share it with some of the younger scouts, so that they could use it to wake the older ones. 

Revenge is sweet though.  On Saturday morning, the older scouts made arrangements to wake up an extra 15 minutes earlier so that they could return the favor on the last day.  :-)
