Evening of Saturday, August 12, leaving
the next morning

Our motto: What happens in Reno, stays in
Reno!
Yes, it's true.
We really did take the scouts to
Reno Nevada.
We started our night by going to an
all you can eat buffet where we completely gorged ourselves. The
casino didn't make any money on us, that's for sure.
We then went walking around a bit,
and ended up inside Circus Circus where we played a few arcade games and
saw a neat little show involving Chinese acrobats.
The boys had a great time.
Not only did they get to eat well,
but they got to spend a couple hours splashing around in a pool.
An most importantly...
we all slept in real beds for the first time in over a week.
Our boys were wonderful. You often hear horror
stories about having a dozen kids on a school field trip, and how unruly
and destructive they are in hotel settings. Not these guys.
Every single one of them made us proud. There would be no hesitation
in taking these guys anywhere.
(of course, it probably helps that
they were exhausted)
